"Act Well Thy Part"
 

The Utah Pipe Band was created in 1937 by Robert Barclay and other Scottish immigrants. The band has promoted Scottish heritage for over 80 years by performing in various community events and competes in the Western United States Pipe Band Association.

 

The band currently has three competition groups, including grade 4, grade 5, and juvenile. The grade 4 band is led by Pipe Major Andrew Barclay, Pipe Sergeant Matt Earl, and Drum Sergeant Andrew Draper. The grade 5 band is led by Pipe Major Steve Taylor, Pipe Sergeant Erica Swenson, and Drum Sergeant Brady Woodward. The juvenile band is instructed by John Barclay.
